Don't let those busy holiday weekends ruin your bridal diet!

Esposita always recommends being prepared. Food from home will not only save you money, but the calories can do naughty things to your bridal diet. Grab a bag of carrots and some crackers with a string cheese before you head out the door for that holiday shopping outing. They will fit right in your handbag, and keep you away from those holiday cookie samples in the grocery store!

However if you find yourself without your shopping snacks, don't worry.

If you're in a rush and have a car full of holiday shopping bags, now you don't have to feel guilty about a quick trip through the Taco Bell drive thru. Their new Fresco Menu is a healthier alternative to the traditional menu items-if necessary.

 

As a comparison:

Crunchy Fresco Taco- 150 calories and 7 grams of fat

Regular Crunchy Taco- 170 calories and 10 grams of fat

 

A great trick to use when eating this meal on-the-go:

 Purchase 2 Fresco Crunchy Tacos, but keep only 1 shell. Simply ask for a fork from the drive thru and you can have 1 crunchy taco with a side "salad"! Throwing that 1 crunchy shell away will save you about 70 calories! Follow this tip, and you will have taken a 300 calorie meal to only 230! Not into being wasteful? Ask the drive thru attendant to keep the crunchy shell and give you the filling in a bowl. You will get fresher ingredients and will even have a nice little bowl to use for your meal!
